Pittsburgh New Church is a friendly place dedicated to life change. We offer weekly worship services that inspire, instruct and prepare you to live your life in a new way. From time to time, we also provide opportunities for discussion and learning in an informal environment that encourages questioning and thoughtfulness.

 For your children, we have Sunday school and nursery programs that nurture and instruct little ones in a casual and loving environment. We also run the Pittsburgh New Church School, a private elementary school for students from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade, that offers a unique educational experience, the personal attention only possible with extremely low student-to-teacher ratios, and a holistic approach to educating the whole child, physical, mental and spiritual.

Within the daily life of the congregation, there are numerous opportunities to serve. There are many volunteer opportunites through which you can learn and grow. Besides working, we also like to play together. Most notably, we have a long tradition of getting together for big celebrations of all kinds.

Finally, we offer a truly unique perspective on life that can only be found in churches that are part of the New (Swedenborgian) Church. So far, Pittsburgh New Church is the only New Church congregation in Pittsburgh. The next nearest place you can find our unique take on life is thirty miles to the northeast, in rural Sarver, PA.
